hello.
on days like these, i dream about the day when i return home. that wonderful day where we all shed our skins and insecurities that we have gotten so used to hating. A loud wind will surge the world and our pearl powdered bodies will arise from the dirt below and be swept away to the skies above. the earth will be enveloped by our white sand and us cradled away to the stars.

when i open my eyes, i will be back home.

a place where conflicts and hearts are washed and all that is left behind is a settling quietness. and the innocence that was robbed and forgotten is now returned to our souls. the land is colored in euphoric shimmers and mountains move like waves of the ocean. strange mist that floods the trees with life like fireflies to the cool of the night. there is no night, the skies change shades in colors that was never remembered. i stare at it all day… i like it very much. it looks like ice-cream.

on days like these, i am being reminded that i am still here; still aware of the restless struggles of the mind and the shortness of peace in the heart. but alas, the dream. the longing for the return. for this earth is just but a temporary home, a transitory island to the place where i belong.

the dance between waiting hours and sweeping hope.
